Numerous individuals claim to understand God, His deep love for His children, and the anger He holds toward the children of Satan. While many reflect on these ideas, their grasp remains superficial because they truly don’t know our Lord and Savior. If they had a genuine relationship with Him, they would clearly see why God places such great importance on worship and obedience.
1 John 2:4
King James Version
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
John 8:19
“Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.”
1 John 2:15
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 3:4,8-10 KJV
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
To truly know God, you need to unlock a few essential keys. First is His word, which reveals His love, purity, and power—three aspects that are fundamentally united, much like the relationship between the Father, the Word, and the Spirit. God's word is not just powerful; it surpasses all limitations. When He speaks, things come into existence and nothing can alter that. His Word exposes His love and explains why He desires our complete devotion—by following His commandments. These commandments serve dual purposes: for those who disregard them, they highlight sin and bring condemnation; for those who embrace them, they offer life through the Holy Spirit. The second key lies in the entirety of God's laws, which embody His purity and power. Finally, the third key is found in the New Testament, particularly in the four Gospels. By
Genesis 1:3
King James Version
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light
Psalm 19:7-9 KJV
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. [8] The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. [9] The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Romans 7:10,12-13 KJV
And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. [12] Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. [13] Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
