To fully embrace the arrival of the New Year, it is essential to step into a new life. Indeed, as the adage goes, “the path of the sinner is difficult,” and “there is no peace for the wicked.” This reminds us that in order to truly enter into a new season, we must undergo a profound transformation—one that allows us to become a new person as we usher in the New Year. The very essence of the word “new” speaks to the idea of something that has not been utilized or experienced before. THE NEW MAN The foundational principle is articulated in Genesis 1:27, which tells us that “God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Adam, the first man, represented a groundbreaking creation; similarly, we must strive to become transformed individuals.
