God is Revealed

In the King James Version (KJV), God is revealed through various names and attributes that emphasize His role as the eternal Creator, Sovereign Ruler, and Saviour.
Who is God in the KJV?
The Creator: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made (John 1:3).
Eternal Spirit: The Bible declares that "God is a Spirit" and must be worshipped in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). He is described as the "King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God" (1 Timothy 1:17).
The One God: Scripture emphasizes monotheism, stating, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" (Deuteronomy 6:4) and "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well" (James 2:19).
Key Attributes of God
Love: "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love" (1 John 4:8).
Holiness: He is perfectly pure, as the angels cry, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts" (Isaiah 6:3).
Unchangeable: He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. "For I am the Lord, I change not" (Malachi 3:6).
Light: The message is clear: "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5).
Relationship with Humanity
The KJV highlights God's redemptive nature through Jesus Christ:
The Saviour: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).
A Faithful Provider: He is a "shield" to those who trust Him and will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Stephen's Death

Understanding Matthew 16:25 In the King James Version of the Bible, Matthew 16:25 beautifully encapsulates a powerful spiritual paradox: "For whoever seeks to save their life will lose it; but whoever loses their life for my sake will find it." It's a thought-provoking reminder that sometimes, in the quest for self-preservation and comfort, we might actually miss out on the deeper, more profound life that comes from surrendering ourselves for a greater purpose. The Heartwrenching Death of Stephen Now, if we shift gears a bit and dive into Acts 7:58-60, we find ourselves facing one of the most intense moments in the early Christian church – the execution of Stephen. Stephen wasn’t just your average believer; he was one of the very first deacons appointed to help with the needs of the early church. People recognized him for his incredible faith, wisdom, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in his life. Unfortunately, this great calling came at a high price. God's Hol...

cubierta de cabeza

1 Corintios 11:4-13 RV 1909 4.
