What Will the Home of the Redeemed Be Like?

Philippians 3:20: Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:1 KJV
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

1 - We will live in heaven
Matthew 8:11: I tell you, many will come from the east and the west, sitting down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 26:29: I assure you, I won’t drink from this vine again until that day when I have it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
John 12:26: If anyone wishes to serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, my servant will be there too. Anyone who serves me will be honored by my Father.
John 14:1-3: Don’t let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house, there are many rooms; if it weren’t so, I would have told you. I’m going to prepare a place for you, and when I do, I’ll come back and take you to be with me, so that you can be where I am.
Luke 22:29-30: I confer upon you a kingdom, just as my Father did for me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones overseeing the twelve tribes of Israel.
Philippians 3:20: Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:1-3: We know that if our earthly body is dismantled, we have a building from God, an eternal home in the heavens. This is why we sigh, yearning to be clothed in our heavenly dwelling, knowing that we’ll be found fully dressed, not naked.

2 - the new earth and the new heavens refer to a different earth that christ has prepared — the celestial light; not where the destroyed Earth was.

Revelation 22:5: There will be no night there; they won’t need the light of a lamp or the sun, for the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever.
Revelation 20:11: I saw a great white throne and the one who sat on it; from whose presence the earth and heaven fled away, and there was no place found for them.
Revelation 21:1-4: I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed. I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, beautifully adorned like a bride for her husband. I heard a loud voice from heaven declaring, ‘Look! God’s dwelling is with mankind. He will live with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes; death will be no more, and sorrow, crying, or pain will be gone; the former things have passed away.’
Isaiah 65:17: For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.
2 Peter 3:7-12: (Read it) Isaiah 13:5,13: They come from a distant land, from the ends of heaven, bringing the Lord and the tools of his wrath to destroy the whole earth. I will shake the heavens, and the earth will be shaken from its place because of the Lord of hosts and his fierce anger.

3 - This promise of entering heaven's paradise is reserved for those who follow god's commandments

2 Corinthians 12:1-4: I must boast; however, I will share stories of visions and revelations from the Lord. I know a man in Christ who, fourteen years ago (whether in the body or out of the body, I can't tell; God knows), was caught up to the third heaven. I know that man (whether in the body or out of the body, I can't tell; God knows) who was taken to Paradise and heard inexpressible words that humans cannot share.
2 Peter 3:13: According to his promise, we are eagerly awaiting new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
Hebrews 11:13-16:/ all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and having believed and welcomed them, and having confessed that they were strangers and sojourners on the earth. 14 For they which say these things signify plainly that they are seeking a country. 15 For if they had remembered that country from whence they came, they would have had time to return. 16 But they desired that which was better, that is, an heavenly place: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared a city for themselves.
Hebrews 12:22 / But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.
Acts 7:49 / Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What house will you build for me? says the Lord; or what is the place of my rest?

Stephen's Death

Understanding Matthew 16:25 In the King James Version of the Bible, Matthew 16:25 beautifully encapsulates a powerful spiritual paradox: "For whoever seeks to save their life will lose it; but whoever loses their life for my sake will find it." It's a thought-provoking reminder that sometimes, in the quest for self-preservation and comfort, we might actually miss out on the deeper, more profound life that comes from surrendering ourselves for a greater purpose. The Heartwrenching Death of Stephen Now, if we shift gears a bit and dive into Acts 7:58-60, we find ourselves facing one of the most intense moments in the early Christian church – the execution of Stephen. Stephen wasn’t just your average believer; he was one of the very first deacons appointed to help with the needs of the early church. People recognized him for his incredible faith, wisdom, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in his life. Unfortunately, this great calling came at a high price. God's Hol...

cubierta de cabeza

1 Corintios 11:4-13 RV 1909 4.
