The Power of Faith: How the True Church Shields Us from Evil

Matthew 24:12-14 KJV And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. [13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. [14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Navigating through our world can be a daunting and treacherous journey, particularly when one attempts to do so without the genuine spirit of God guiding them. The reality is that the world we inhabit has fallen into a state of curse, plagued by turmoil, conflict, and moral decay. In such an environment, the only sanctuary truly worth seeking is found within the walls of the true church—a bastion of goodness where faithful Christians diligently uphold all the commandments laid down by our Creator.  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail againstit. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of h...

Ezekiel's Vision of a Scroll

Ezekiel 3:1-27 KJV Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. [2] So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. [3] And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness. [4] And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them. [5] For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel; [6] Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee. [7] But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted. [8] Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy for...

In Man Do They Trust

Pinterest image  In our contemporary society, we are surrounded by a multitude of malevolent schemes cleverly orchestrated by the devil and his human accomplices, all designed to ensure that the true, benevolent Creator is cast aside and that the unsuspecting victims fall prey to their manipulative tactics. One particularly insidious device in their arsenal is the health care system, including the very medications that are meant to heal but, in reality, often serve other, more nefarious purposes.  What truly astonishes me is the sheer number of prescriptions that flood the market, each one laden with a multitude of warnings highlighting their potential side effects. It seems almost surreal that despite these alarming disclaimers, countless individuals continue to purchase these medications at exorbitant prices. It’s a troubling paradox: the more severe the health condition an individual faces, the higher the cost of the treatment. This creates a scenario where the ill a...

The Chosen

The phrase "For many are called, but few are chosen," which comes from the King James Version of the Bible, can be found in Matthew 22:14. This powerful statement encapsulates a profound spiritual truth: while God extends a general invitation to all people for salvation and a relationship with Him, it is ultimately the response of the individual that determines whether they will be among the chosen ones. Only those who embrace this invitation with a heart full of faith and a willingness to align their lives with God's will are truly selected for His kingdom. To understand this message more deeply, we can look at the parable that precedes this phrase in Matthew 22. This parable vividly illustrates the scenario of a grand wedding feast, where a king invites numerous guests to celebrate the marriage of his son. Despite the open invitation to partake in this joyous occasion, the story takes a turn when we see that not everyone who is called to the feast will be able to join...

🎚️Jesus as the Truth: Unlocking Freedom and Holiness

John 8:32 King James Version 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. If you believe you can truly make the world a better place, you’ve been misled by dark influences. The odds of that happening are as unlikely as a snowman surviving in hell. You’ve also been tricked into doubting the existence of God and viewing His teachings as mere fiction. But you're not alone; many who think this way are lost, including those who claim to believe but are misled as well. If we don’t distance ourselves from worldly ideas, we risk becoming unwitting followers of the enemy. To escape this deception, start engaging with the true version of the Bible and move away from the deceptive narratives of those who spread lies. John 17:5,17 KJV And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. [17] Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 1 John 2:15-17 KJV Love not the world, neither the things that are i...

Judge Not

I've observed a troubling trend in our society where numerous individuals feel entitled to pass judgment on others, particularly targeting those who are part of same-sex relationships. This tendency toward condemnation raises many questions, especially considering that while such relationships may be viewed by some as sinful or even an abomination in the eyes of the Lord, they are not beyond the grasp of divine forgiveness. The crucial element lies in the willingness of these individuals to genuinely confess their sins and seek repentance.  What is particularly striking about this situation is the irony of the very people who are quick to judge. Many of them are, in fact, transgressors themselves — they sin and violate the established laws of God just like those they scrutinize. This hypocrisy not only undermines their criticisms but also highlights the need for introspection before casting stones.  We can look to the Bible for clarity and wisdom on this matter, particu...

Forgiveness

Mark 11:25 - And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Matthew 6:14-15 KJV For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: [15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Matthew 18:21-22 - Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? [22] Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. 🎚️How Christians Should Live a Life Pleasing to God

God's Holy Word Says  (1 Thessalonians 4:1) Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. (1 Thessalonians 4:2) For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 4:3) For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: (1 Thessalonians 4:4) That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; (1 Thessalonians 4:5) Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: (1 Thessalonians 4:6) That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. (1 Thessalonians 4:7) For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. (1 Thessalonians 4:8) He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, bu...

God Knows Those That Belong to Him

Isaiah 43:1-28 KJV The Lord Comforts with His Promises  The Word of God Says  But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. [2] When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. [3] For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. [4] Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life. [5] Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; [6] I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth...

Modesty and Inner Beauty: Lessons from Scripture

God's Holy Word Says: 1 Timothy 2:9 - In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 1 Peter 3:3 - Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 1 Peter 3:4 - But [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, [even the ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. Leviticus 19:28 - Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD. 1 Peter 3:1-6 - Likewise, ye wives, [be] in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; [2]  While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. [3] Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of we...

Saul Persecutes the Believers

Acts 8:1-3 KJV The Holy Word of God Says: And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. [2] And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. [3] As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Saul Becomes a Christian  Acts 9:1-31 KJV And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, [2] And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. [3] And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: [4] And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him...

Comfort in the Mercy of God

A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before the LORD Psalm 102:1-28 KJV The Word of God Says: Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee. [2] Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. [3] For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth. [4] My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. [5] By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. [6] I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. [7] I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. [8] Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me. [9] For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping, [10] Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down. [11] My days are like a shadow that...

The Sermon on the Mount

Matthew 5:1-48 KJV And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:[2] And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,  The Beatitudes [3] Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [4] Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. [5] Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. [6] Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. [7] Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. [8] Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. [9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. [10] Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [11] Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. [12] Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for ...

The Second Coming of Our Lord Jesus Chris

The Bible contains several profound verses that convey the importance of being prepared for the unexpected return of Jesus, especially in the context of living in sin. Among them, Matthew 24:42-44 serves as a striking reminder of this urgency. In these verses, we are urged to remain vigilant and ready because the Son of Man will arrive at a moment that catches many by surprise. The passage underscores the crucial point that just as a homeowner would have taken precautions had they known when a thief would strike, so too should we be on guard, recognizing that Jesus' second coming will come unexpectedly. The passage resonates with a powerful message: "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." This stern exhortation encourages believers to maintain a state of constant watchfulness, reflecting on the suddenness and unpredictability of His return. Another significant scripture that echoes this is found in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4. These verses draws a vivi...
